Hmmm...Hanson Hater?

Here is where you can hear our opinions on people who don't like Hanson. I, (Rose), do not like labeling people or giving them a bad name...so please don't mind the subject: "Hanson Hater". Are you a person who has an opinion on this subject? Send it in to morehanson@hotmail.com and we'll post it up!

Rose's View (version 1.0 *lol*):

To all you people who email Hanson fans saying: "Oh, they suck", "They sing and look like girls" or "They're trying to brainwash the world", please give us a break. If you want us to take you seriously, please don't send emails using the variations of words, such as for the words you, (u) to (2) and sux (sucks). Instead be creative, perhaps that would make it original or unique and not leave me totally bored.

So, you're probably thinking I'm an obsessed and fanatical Hanson fan. That I collect every magazine; have the posters and pin-ups from the floor to the ceiling like wallpaper from teen beat magazine; and I also have to admit or guess that you think I like them for their looks. Also, now, that I'm a "gay-girl" fan, I automatically insanely love "the middle one".

I don't think so. It doesn't exactly go like that.

Yeah, sure, I like Hanson, but they're just a band! A band is a group of people who make music, may I remind you. And, Hanson's music is to me...is just breathtaking. Always and usually gives a message.

I promise you that I'm not obsessive...I would never stalk Hanson or never invade their privacy. I guess I'm more obsessive in the form of listening to their Christmas album Snowed In all year-round. Hehe =). But don't take me wrong, I also do own some pinups...SOME PIN-UPS. I don't try to beat the world record for having more than 2000 or 5000 pin-ups. I only have one poster up, which is on my bedroom door. I don't take that as pathetic or loser-like. Lastly, it's how great the musicians they are that count. I mean at that age, could you have all that? A #1 single? An occupation as a musician? All that talent? Oh, yeah, and I do have to add all those screaming girls following you? And probably make a load of money?

(By the way, I've written this article based on what I've seen from Anti-Hanson sites and people who are not fans that leave nasty comments in guestbooks...which are shameless. You may be a different person. I'm trying not to be stereo-typical here, but it's hard. I'm not saying that you are that EXACT person.)

It's all about the music, not who it's coming from...remember that. No matter how ugly or how cute the musician is, you should judge them by the music, not by looks or ages.

Okay, I'm sure that most people don't like them because of their looks. For example, I could say that a lot of people like the BSB or *N Sync because of their looks...then the music matters after they buy the album or see the music video. Then with Hanson, they always think they're gay just because of their long blond hair. What is the problem with that? If women can have short hair-cuts and also have long hair, then why can't men? (If you have an answer then email me) I have no problem with their hair. I think it makes them original. (I mean how many boy bands have you seen in the '90s with long hair and they're men?) They like it that way and I think we should respect that.

So, if you have a good reason on why you don't like Hanson or you plainly just don't have the same taste in music, I will respect your free opinions if you let me express my free opinions also.

Well, we all know that they're out there. You may be a Hanson hater. That's fine with me. The only problem I have with people who don't like Hanson, is when you ask who my favourite band is, and I reply Hanson, I don't expect to hear comments like "They are gay", "Why do you like those fag girls?" or/and "They are a bunch of girls".
Now, when I ask a hater what their favourite band is, they may say a band that I don't like. And do you hear me say that that bands gay, or they look like girls/guys? Do you hear me say anything mean about them? Well, the answers no. I respect other people's likes and dislikes. I respect people's rights to like the bands that they want to. Now, if you want to be treated with respect, then don't say those kinds of things. The only reason not to like a certain band is because of their music. Music has nothing to do with who the people making the music are, or look like. Music is about the music. I know that some people don't like Hanson because they don't like their music, and that's fine. I know everyone doesn't have the same taste in music. Some advice: Like or don't like a band for their music. Don't like them for their looks. It's all about the music, remember that.

If you are a Hanson hater and decide to write us hate mail about how much Hanson sucks, or you swear at us, don't expect to get an email back telling you off. We aren't like that. We like Hanson for their music, and we don't care what you have to say about that.
