*MOE #4*
According to Hansonline, issue 4 of MOE has been mailed out. So it'll take up to 4 weeks depending on where you live.

*Yahoo Chat*
Hanson will be chatting on Yahoo! on Feb. 22, at 8pm ET. They will also be auctioning off autographed posters of the Hanson and Bob Weir performance at http://auctions.yahoo.com. The proceeds will go to the Federal Land Action Network. Remember if you want to chat, you have to be registered with Yahoo. So that means if you have an email address there and/or have gone to a Yahoo chat before, then you're registered.

*Tay's New Earring*
Has anyone seen Tay's new earring? Well, I, for one think it's true. I've seen some pix of it. The story is that he got it pierced on his left ear, on the cartilage part... other wise known as the top part of the ear. He got it on Valentine's Day in NYC.

*Motown Live*
Hanson is going to appear on the Valentine's Day special of Motown Live. The thing is that the show is syndicated, so we have no idea when it'll air in your area. It's probably a never-before seen performance...but still taped the same time they did "Gimme Some Lovin'" and "Run, Rudolph, Run." I dunno, we don't see the commercials here =(. Well, anyways, just to remind you we know nothing about the time, date, and/or channel unless you live in Canada like we do. =)

*Hanson at Sundance*

In this week's Entertainment Weekly (the one with Michelle Pfeiffer on the cover) they did a bit on the Sundance Film Festival which was held in Utah between January 24-27. Turns out that Hanson made it to the festival (at least 2 of them did):

"Even two thirds of Hanson appeared at a screening for the postpartum college-blues comedy Chillicothe: 'We knew these guys when we were nobody,' said Isaac Hanson -- the 'guys' being writer-director Todd Edwards and producer Cory Edwards, who live in the teens' hometown of Tulsa."

**Sister Sites**

Hey there! So far, we've had tons of requests to be sistas with a lot of sites. Right now, though, we're trying to figure out what sites we want. So, please do not send in anymore requests. Sorry if this has cause any inconvenience.=(

*Check out
Hansonline*
Hansonline put up a bit more info about the enHANSONed CD that you'll get with MOE #5, plus some sound clips from the CD (includes songs from Boomerang and MMMBop). There's also a picture of the Gibson Les Paul Isaac poster that you could win. And some info about tickets and backstage passes that MOE members could win for Hanson's next tour. So go check that out. :) Read below for other info about MOE and the CD.

*MOE #4 and all the goodies*

What to come soon with MOE? All those that renew their subscription or recently signed up and expect to get MOE #5 when the time comes are SUPPOSED to get the special enhanced CD that is being distributed with that issue. Now, that's with #5, we still have MOE #4 that's going to come out very soon with details about the CD. Until then, here's a preview. The CD will include:

  • "Boomerang" (from Hanson's first indie album Boomerang)
  • "Rain" (From Boomerang)
  • "More Than Anything" (from Boomerang, the original version with Zac and Taylor singing background vocals)
  • "Incredible" (from their second indie album MMMBop, not included on 3 Car Garage)
  • "Baby, You're So Fine" (from MMMBop, not included on 3CG)
  • The enhanced portion of the CD to be played on your computer's CD-ROM, with a video of Hanson talking about their new album
  • Hanson/MOE mouse pointers for your computer
  • Hanson/MOE screen savers for your computer
  • A link to the special MOE area of Hansonline
  • Special access to a "virtual world" where you can meet and interact with Hanson online (whatever that means... LOL)
  • And more... okay... and much, much MOrE... happy? Hehe

The CD will be included with MOE #5 so to anyone that expects to receive MOE #5 will then, of course, receive the CD. In MOE #4, due to be hitting mailboxes in a little less than a month or so, there will be several contests. You can win an autographed Gibson Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar (like Isaac's), 1 of 25 autogra phed Gibson posters featuring Ike, or 1 of 100 autographed MOE #5. I'm not psychic... all info was taken from an official post on the Hanson newsgroup alt.fan.hanson and from the Hanson Hotline. :) (thanks again, Lisa =) )

*Rolling Stone Article*
Here is an article from
Rolling Stone Online:
As puberty-ridden Peter Brady once said, "When it's time to change, you've got to rearrange...." Now facing similar baritone-blossoming problems, the middle brother of another illustrious family group, Hanson, is taking that sage advice to heart this winter. Sixteen years old next month, Taylor Hanson has written approximately twenty-five new songs with his brothers Isaac and Zac for a new, more mature Hanson album. "I'm sure it will be groundbreaking," says an unbiased management representative regarding the trio's third studio album, which is tentatively scheduled for release late this summer. So far the group has cut demos for five new tunes at their home studio in Tulsa, Okla., and hopes to begin banging out full fledged studio tracks next month. In the meantime, the threesome will begin sorting through crates of love letters from potential producers and inviting candidates to their Midwestern retreat for auditions / rap sessions.

*Hanson in a NEW computer game*
Hanson was mentioned in this new computer game called "Head Rush" Here are the questions that were in the trial version. The full version has many Hanson questions (this might offend some Hanson fans, so you're forwarned):

1. Paid Athlete + littlelest Hanson= ___?___
2. MmmStop kissing me if teen songbirds Hanson were to make a special appearance on the "City of Brotherly Love." What might the fans see?
a) Zac smooching Tay in San Fracise
b) Ike kissing Tay in Tulsa
c) Ike giving a peck to Zac in London
d) Tay frenching Ike in Philidelpia

...and then it says "I always knew there was something weird about that family."
If you want the answers, then just email us.

*New Book by Ravi*
Ravi was Hanson's backup guitarist in 1997 and did their promo tour with them. He is releasing a book titled Dancin' with Hanson that is being published by Pocket Books/Simon and Schuster on April 1, 1999. It's suppose to contain never-before-seen behind-the-scenes photos and stories that were taken from Ravi's tour journal. It's approximately 96 pages with a retail value of $12 (although I'm sure it won't be hard to find it for less due to discounts). Currently, the book is listed at
Amazon.com for pre-order at $9.60.
(we can't thank the Hanson Hotel Staff enough and to Kim who provided that info) =)

*A Double-Dose of new Hanson Books to be released*
Two new Hanson books to be released. One called Hanson set to be released on Feb. 1st, and another called Hanson: From Tulsa to the Stars set to be released in March. You can pre-order 'em at: Hanson Online Bookstore.

*Not much Hanson in 16*
"Hanson -- Do you still love them?" as so asks this month's 16 mag. People have been asking why Hanson has been featured on their magazine less and less as the months go by. They've challenged you fans (you guys of course!), to write in and tell how much we love 'em. Here's the address:

16 Magazine
PO Box 887
Madison Square Station
New York, NY 10159

*Polygram and Universal Records Merger*
I heard about this on a radio station here a few months ago, but never really cared about it. It is true though, but no need to worry, Hanson will still have a record label. The whole story behind this is: well, the record company that Hanson is signed to is Mercury Records. Mercury Records is a division or company of Polygram. So if Polygram and Universal merge, then it would mean some good news for some bands and artists signed to Polygram and Universal. Those bands and artists signed will probably come out with a new label or possibly some albums will be delayed upon their release. But, since Hanson's album is supposed to be due out around the summertime, I doubt that there will be a problem because the companies are merging soon. We just have to wait and hope for the best for Hanson.

*Some places to vote*

We will have the voting booth up soon on the site, but in the mean time...there are a lot of places to vote for Hanson:
teen.com-vote for Hanson at their Entertainment Awards

*Hanson and Jonny Lang?*
Well, yes, don't worry they're not in a relationship (ew!) or anything, but Hanson was at a Jonny Lang concert in Tulsa on Monday. The great part was that they weren't really noticed, but some fans did notice and got to meet them. Just a *reminder* for where Hanson is and what they're doing: In Tulsa,OK and recording the new album which has yet to be named.

*Radio Disney Chat postponed*

Radio Disney won't be having the live chat with Hanson until January 13. You can
submit questions by going and clicking that link. Also, in the mean time be sure to check out Radio Disney's Hanson Headquarters.

*Hanson in Teen People*
Well, I, Rose, am a subscriber to Teen People. So, I usually get the issue a few days before it comes out on newstands. This is bad news though, but I thought "what the heck? good or bad, it's Hanson anyway." This came from the results of their Readers' Poll. Just click
here. It should explain everything.

*Year-End music video chart positions*
"Weird" landed huge in year-end charts. It was Total Request Live's #54 in their Top 100 for MTV. It was #5 in YTV's Hitlist's Top 20 of '98, along with "I Will Come To You" taking the #14 spot (thanks Kara!). And finally, it made #19 on MuchMusic's Top 95 of '98. "I Will Come To You" was also on that chart.

*Radio Disney Contest*
There is a current Radio Disney contest where you can get music lessons from Hanson. Taylor will teach you keyboards, Isaac the guitar and Zac the drums. You would be flown to wherever the guys are, get a rental car, a limo and an hour long tutorial. Plus, you get to keep the instruments. Here's the catch -- you must be 12 or under. Listen to Radio Disney now to find out how to win.

*Hanson in YM*
Hanson is named as 1 of the 50 most beautiful guys in the latest issue of YM. Awesome! We all know they are beautiful.
